Celebrity Cruises Updates Winter Itineraries, Overnights in Caribbean


Celebrity Cruises has announced its updated 2021-2022 winter itineraries for the Caribbean, Europe, and South America.

Highlights include an expanded Caribbean presence with overnight calls, new Spain and Portugal voyages, and a new homeport in South America.

Caribbean

Eight of Celebrity’s ships will sail in the Caribbean, including Celebrity Edge and her brand-new sister ship Celebrity Apex. From November 2021 to April 2022, these ships will offer everything from short escapes to longer immersive sailings.

Celebrity Edge will offer a full season of seven-night Caribbean cruises to both the eastern and western Caribbean. Celebrity Silhouette, which recently underwent a refurbishment, will sail new southern Caribbean itineraries that include overnights in both Aruba and Curaçao.

Another recently renovated ship, Celebrity Summit, will replace Celebrity Infinity to operate four and five-night cruises from Miami. The ship will also sail two new Mexico holiday sailings in December 2021.

Europe

Next autumn, Celebrity Infinity will extend her season in Europe into October and November. The ship will sail the Mediterranean from Lisbon, Portugal offering two new seven-night Iberian Peninsula sailings and a new 10-night “Best of Spain and Portugal” itinerary.

The ship will then set sail on a 12-night transatlantic cruise from Lisbon to Rio de Janiero, Brazil with calls in Spain and the Canary Islands.

South America

From December 2021 to March 2022, Celebrity Infinity will explore South America, from the Fjords of Chile to the tropical beaches and rainforests of Brazil all the way to the tip of Antarctica.

With a new homeport of Valparaiso, Chile, known as “Little San Francisco” for its artistic culture, the all-new schedule features four new nine to 12-night itineraries calling on ports throughout Argentina and Patagonia, or the cityscapes in Argentina and Brazil.

One new 14-night cruise to Antarctica will also be available, for a total of three sailings to the bucket-list destination.

The Latest on Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity recently announced a new more-inclusive cruise fare model, which means that from now on wifi, drinks, and gratuities are included on every Celebrity cruise. Read more about that here.

Celebrity Cruises will be applying the recommendations of its Healthy Sail Panel to ensure safe and healthy vacations for all of its passengers and crew. The line currently plans to begin a phased resumption of cruising in January 2021.
